FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does my dog need grooming?
Not every dog needs regular appointments with a professional groomer. How often professional grooming is required, depends mainly on your dog’s breed and coat type. However, regular grooming at home or by a professional is important for every dog. It helps build trust, teaches your dog to stand calmly while being handled, and allows you to spot injuries or health concerns early. It is also essential for healthy coat and skin condition.
What if I need to cancel or change an appointment/booking?
If you need to change an appointment, please telephone or text us. We reserve the right to charge the full grooming fee for missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
How often will my dog need grooming?
This depends on your dog’s breed and coat type. A border terrier may only need grooming twice a year, while a cockapoo usually needs grooming every 6–8 weeks. We assess each dog individually and agree a grooming plan with owners at the first appointment. If you are thinking of getting a dog, especially for the first time, it is important to consider its grooming needs. If you are unsure, please contact us for free general advice..
